Howdy Folks!
Buffalo Jim & I were married 6
years ago, February 1999. Together, we have eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchild. Aren't GRANDKIDS and
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN wonderful, & special!! We have a very special and unique loving, step-family! We love animals of all
kind!!
We have lots of wild animals and creatures that visit
us quite frequently, here on the ranch.
We enjoy "western events and gatherin's"!
We especially enjoy the ones that are dedicated to our favororte cowboy and favorite cowgirl, "Roy & Dale". We've met
SO MANY nice people along the
trail, who've become our close friends "and extended family.
August 2003, Buffalo Jim and I moved my mom amd step-dad in with us. Bein' their caregivers this past 1 1/2 years have
been a stessful, and at the same time, very enjoyable for Buffalo Jim and I. So glad we did this, for we lost Mom
February 11, 2005. The good Lord called her home to Heaven that mornin'. Mom had a sweet 'graduation into Heaven'.

We want to THANK YOU ALL, for all your prayers and concerns, concernin' my mom Vera, her husband Willus,
Jim and I and our family. Mom went home to be with the Lord Friday morin' very peacefully and so quickly. She had
no pain, no sufferin'; just like I'd ask the Lord to do, when her time on earth was over. When they called us that mornin',
we praised God Almighty, that he took her home, just like I had prayed for.
I had been sick a couple of days with 'that bug' that was goin' 'round, so I hadn't seen her
since the Tuesday evenin' before [didn't wanna give it to her or anyone of those sweet people]. Jim had been there on Thursday
[2-10-05] to see Willus and Mom. Mom was so excited and talkin' to Jim about 'gettin' her permanent at the end of the month
[you know us ladies and our hairdos]. She was feelin' "so good!"
Thank each and everyone of ya for all the emails, IM's, cards, flowers and letters of incouragement. They are
truly thoughtful and so comfortin'!!

~'Bout Our Ranch ~
We are located in southwestern Missouri ('Bout 85 miles north of Branson, MO).
We have 20 acres of beautiful woodlands and nature. God must
have had us in mind, when he created this here land! We love the wonderful view of nature that we have here. The deer are
aroamin' the woodands and the wild turkey, well their aplenty. We hear the frogs acrokin' in the distant ponds. Y ou
can hear the coyotes at night and on occation you hear a lonely wolf, howlin' at the moon. There's a few quail left
arunnin 'round in the bushes and brambles. Alot of squirrels, bunny rabbits, raccoons, a few foxes and lot of beautiful wild
birds live here. Other creepy crawly critters come out in the springtime.
The Lord, well he's done real good to give us here a place to live
out the rest of our lives!!......We love the easy goin' lifesytle we have in "the country". Sure don't miss, "the fast paced"
livin' in the city!!
We're enjoy all types of music!! Buffalo Jim loves the "big band
sound", classic country, jazz, some "today's country", classic sounds from the 40's & 50's, gospel, bluegrass, and of
course, "western music" He enjoys ALL MUSIC, but he favors the "big band sound" and western music. Here's some
of my favorite music. I love the 40's & 50's, "Classic Rock n Roll" (reminds me of my teen years). I enjoy jazz, easylistenin',
"traditional gospel", classic country, some opera, bluegrass, songs of yesteryear (any style), and especially "songs of
cowboys/cowgirls and the WEST. "Me, I've been known to "sing along", "clap my hands", tap my foot to the music. I've even
been known to sing, "in the shower ". Now don't ya'll laugh!
We had two very special songs playin' throughout our weddin' and reception.
They were "Keeper of the Stars" by Tracy Byrd, and "I Cross My Heart", by George Strait |
